Mutts & Martinis FAQ

Do you switch Big dogs and little dogs every 30 minutes in the dog pool?

We do switch every 30 minutes and it is dependent upon the age, breed, weight of the dog.  Think of it as a Crazy or Calm group.  There may be a "BIG" dog who is a little more elderly and needs to be in the smaller/quieter group or a smaller higher energy dog that can run with the big dogs.

We have trained Paw-lice working the water park to help the switch over and they will ask you if you wish your dog in to any specific group.  As always depends on how many fur babies we have in the pool area.

We want everyone to have a chance to play in the pool and have fun.

SAFETY FIRST!

Natalie Conner, the owner of Mutts and Martinis, has been in the "dog business" for over 15 years.  Safety is Natalie's main focus at her two 'Love My Dog Resort' locations and the Love My Dog Grooming Boutique.

The Dog Pool / Splash Pad

The dog pool is approximately 3700 gallons of water filtered through a top of the line Pentair Sand Cartridge System that has it's filter rotated two to three times daily.   This is a salt water pool that is monitored by the Pentair Ichlor Salt Chorine Generator system keeping salt levels at 3500 to 4500 ppm. This keeps the salt level in the pool where you can not really taste the salinity at the same time there is no burn/sting you normally get from full chlorine pools.

The Mutts pool also boasts 7 water feature jets and 6 LED lights for fun and exciting night experience.

Do I need a dog to come to Mutts and Martinis?
